Joe Kemp, P.E., started his career with DOT&PF in 1998 as an intern with Bridge Design in Juneau. Joe joined Northern Region as an engineer in 2003 and, with the exception of a six-year period with the Alaska Department of Natural Resources where he worked as a technical engineer handling oil and gas issues, he has been with Northern Region ever since.

Joe lives in Fairbanks with his family and spends much of his free time coaching youth sports.
