The scope of work for this federally funded contract includes the installation of a new Owner-Furnished Controlled Pitch Propeller (CPP) System on the M/V Columbia, including Alarm and Monitoring systems installation, Fire Detection system, testing, and demonstration of acceptable operation to regulatory agencies and the owner. Work includes necessary remediation of contaminated materials, limited engineering, documentation, and State funded annual overhaul work as outlined in the plans and specifications.

Rehabilitate approximately 7,000 feet of the tug road from Taxiway Victor to Alaska Cargo Port. Project includes pavement planning, paving, and striping.

Install an estimated 70 monitors and 70 input stations with associated hardware, software, and accessories to provide visual paging throughout the South Terminal, Connector, and North Terminal Lobby to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements.

This state funded project will replace a portion of roofing on the AVTEC Industrial Electronics Building in Seward, Alaska. This project includes four (4) additive alternates for additional roofing replacement; siding, window, and door replacement; boiler replacement; and construction of a new roof canopy.

The Kalsin Bay Maintenance Station was replaced in 2019. The reconstructed facility is a 4100 SQ. Ft. steel frame building with three maintenance bays and an adjoining office, break room, and bathroom. Phase 2 consists of miscellaneous remaining scope required for full functionality of the maintenance station, including but are not limited to, concrete apron replacement, building envelope upgrades, domestic water filtration, wastewater holding tank modifications, fuel tank relocation, provision of an emergency generator, and other mechanical and electrical upgrades.

Bridge strengthening to NBI#797 at the intersection of Bauer Way and Water Street.

The project will repair unstable slopes from MP 3.0 to MP 3.9 on Tongass Highway.

This preventative maintenance project will resurface North Eagle River Access Road and may include as necessary; signing and striping, guardrail and other roadside hardware, signalization, lighting, drainage work, dig-outs, bridge repair, curb ramps, automated traffic recorders, and utility relocation.

Construct permanent repairs to the Kougarok Road at MP 61.5, MP 66.5, and MP 79.5. Project includes roadway reconstruction and drainage improvements.

Reconstruct pedestrian facilities and adjacent areas on 4th Avenue and 11 Avenue in Fairbanks. Project includes drainage improvements, roadside hardware, and utilities.

This state funded project includes all necessary construction services as required to replace the existing roof with a new EPDM roofing system at the Peger Road Engineering & Contracts Building at the Department of Transportation Complex at 2301 Peger Road in Fairbanks, Alaska.

Resurface and widen the state-maintained portion of Woll Road in North Pole. Work also includes drainage improvements, roadside hardware, and utilities.

Rehabilitate the Alaska Highway and construct new passing lanes. Project work will include bridge work, roadside hardware, drainage, intersection improvements and utilities.

Repair pavement along a section of Runway 7R from the edge of concrete to Taxiway G.

This project will design and construct improvements for TW R from approximately TL P to TW Q for Airplane Design Group 6.

Construct a perimeter road along the northwest edge of the security fence. The road will begin just south of the fuel farm and continue around northwest to follow the existing security fence. Project includes structural section, paving, and security fencing.

This project will rehabilitate the runway, taxiway, apron, and airport access road. The runway safety area will be expanded, and runway grades will be corrected to meet line-of-sight requirements. Additional improvements include replacement of airfield lighting, FAA navaids, wind cones, segmented circle, build a supplemental wind cone access, and apply dust palliative.

Reconstruct eleven signalized intersections at multiple locations in the City of Fairbanks. Work includes intersection improvements and roadside hardware.

Construct drainage improvements at the Deadhorse Airport and along Deadhorse Drive and fill in-fields adjacent to the runway and apron. Construct a wildlife perimeter fence with a service road around the airfield.

This project will remove and replace the existing single bay SREB at the same location.

Apply new pavement markings, Replace snow removal equipment.

Reconcile right of way and encroachment conflicts along the Glenn and Richardson Highways near Glennallen Alaska, to allow for completion of future federal projects. This work may include right of way research, appraisals, purchases and other activities necessary to eliminate conflicts. Completion of a highway wayside as part of the conflict elimination will also be included as part of this effort.

Construct fencing along the boat launch on the Gulkana River.

Provide additional illumination at the Stedman/Deermount intersection to achieve a level of luminance that meets current DOT&PF standards. Construct a concrete sidewalk bulbout on the Stedman side of the marked crosswalk. The bulbout will extend from the existing sidewalk to the edge of the traveled way.

This HSIP project will construct a flashing beacon and load center at the intersection of Church Road and Spruce Ave. Work may include drainage improvements, roadside hardware, ADA improvements (curb ramp & pathway), and utilities.

This project will replace or rehabilitate the Sayles/Gorge Street Viaduct (#1841).

Reconstruct seven signalized intersections at multiple locations in the Fairbanks and Parks Highway Nenana Canyon area. Work includes intersection improvements and roadside hardware.

Reconfigure existing parking lot and access roads at Pearl Creek Elementary School in Fairbanks in order to improve vehicle circulation and reduce vehicle idling. The work includes excavation, grading, culvert replacement, seeding, rock armoring, and stream channel restoration.

This project will construct permanent repairs (PR) to the upper & lower portion of the Waydelich Creek retaining wall. The upper wall was damaged by the December 2020 Storm in the Southcoast Region of Alaska for DDIR AK2021-1 JNS003. Repairs may include, but are not limited to, asphalt, embankment, geotextile, concrete, steel reinforcement, riprap, drainage, roadside hardware, and utilities. Phase code is T02015. The lower wall has years of deterioration & requires additional work to bring the full wall up to seismic code & extend the service life another 40 years. This portion of the project has PM-funding. Phase code is T02A15.

Rehabilitate the runway, taxiway, safety areas, apron, and access road. Widen and extend RSA to meet ADG II standards. Place and compact CASC, apply dust palliative. Reconstruct the airfield lighting system, primary wind cone, and supplemental wind cone. Replace rotating beacon on a tip-down pole. Relevel SREB. Construct barge landing.

This project is for Sitka Seawalk Stage II, which will continue the Sea Walk from the Sitka Public Library to the O¿Connell Lightering Facility. This project would improve pedestrian and ADA accessibility to the existing facilities.

This project will install FYA signal heads for existing protected-permissive and permissive left turning movements (opposing left turns will both be upgraded, where identified); install new signal poles, mast arms, and foundations as required to complete FYA upgrades; upgrade existing TS-1 traffic controller cabinets and electrical load centers to support FYA operation; relocate mast arm signage and reconstruct existing sidewalk, roadway, curb and gutter, and curb ramps as required to modify the required traffic signal to FYA operation.

Construct a roundabout at the intersection of Chena Pump Road, Old Chena Ridge Road, and Chena Small Tracts Road. Project will include intersection improvements, roadside hardware, and utilities.

Construct a single-lane roundabout at the Loop Road - Mendenhall Boulevard - Valley Boulevard intersection.

Reconstruct Knik-Goose Bay Rd from its intersection with the Vine Road to its intersection with Settlers Bay Drive. Work may include widening the roadway to add additional thru traffic lanes, turning lanes, as well as new signals and associated drainage and safety improvements.

Project will improve capacity of this segment of Knik-Goose Bay Road, likely requiring additional lanes. Includes constructing bike/pedestrian facilities and implementing appropriate safety engineering strategies and access management.

Resurface the runway, taxiway, apron, and access road to correct deep cracks, uneven surfaces, soft spots, and areas where subbase is exposed. Replace lighting, NAVAIDS, and improve drainage.
