Public Involvement in Transportation Planning

*************

Public meetings are frequently held around the state on transportation planning issues. If one is scheduled in your community, it will normally be announced on the On-line Public Notice site. To get the dates and schedules for the next meeting. Most of these meetings deal with specific plans or projects directly affecting the community and are scheduled by the responsible project manager within DOT&PF.

If you have questions or concerns regarding transportation issues in your community, please contact your local city or borough government's planning and/or community development staff and let them know. They are typically the first point of contact for DOT&PF meetings or workshops in their respective communities.

There are, of course, other ways to become involved in transportation planning. You can:

Browse our site for info of interest to you. Plan/Project pages typically have points of contact listed, and you can e-mail them directly.

We have a staff listing and you can also request that your name be placed on our mailing list for further informational releases.
