Welcome to Alaska's Scenic Byways!
This website features each of the state's byways and is designed to help you start the travel planning process. Where possible, we provide links to local tourism sites for more detailed information about travel amenities and features in each area.
The Alaska Marine Highway has grown to reach more than 30 Alaska coastal communities along a 3,500 mile route. Many Alaska communities are accessible only by air or sea, and there’s no better way to experience these diverse coastal regions than on the Alaska State Ferry. Join the Alaska Marine Highway in celebrating 50 years of service in 2013!
