The Contractor shall develop a plan which explores management approaches and strategies to ensure the project corridor performs at an optimal level for all users and improves the functionality of the entire arterial transportation network. The corridor plan shall describe the corridor’s characteristics, foreseeable development and impacts, and opportunities for mitigation of adverse conditions. The plan shall utilize data to identify corridor projects and strategies that will support the goals and objectives of the area. The plan shall include progress monitoring and assessment criteria to evaluate the effectiveness of the plan’s implementation.

The Contractor shall provide design services and bid ready construction contract documents for the rehabilitation of the subject project from the Bethel Airport to Watson’s Corner. Roadway improvements may include roadside hardware, drainage improvements, intersection improvements, ADA improvements, Right-Of-Way, and Utilities. Professional services may include Environmental Support, Surveying, Hydrologic and Hydraulic Design, Traffic and Safety Analysis, Design Study Report, Public Involvement, Erosion and Sediment Control Plan, Plans, Specifications, and Engineer’s Estimate, Assistance during Bidding and Construction, and Design Project Closeout.

The Contractor shall perform all work necessary to organize, facilitate, and coordinate public involvement event planning for events presenting information on multiple transportation projects being developed within a given geographic area of the Contracting Agency’s Central Region.

The Contractor shall provide professional services to complete a bid-ready set of plans, specifications, and estimate (PS&E) for the Dillingham Airport Fence and Service Road project. Services shall also include Hazardous Materials (HM), environmental services, hydrology, an engineer’s design report (EDR), Construction Safety and Phasing Plan (CSPP), Erosion and Sediment Control Plan (ESCP), Assistance During Bidding, Design Closeout Documentation, and Assistance During Construction.

The Contractor shall provide professional design services to support the restoration of permanent heating service to the building. The general scope of work includes replacement and/or repair of any HVAC systems needing to restore heating service as determined necessary. Architectural and engineering services include, but not limited to investigations and evaluations, mechanical, civil, electrical, architectural, structural, design, cost estimating, environmental services, bidding support, and construction administration assistance. The Contracting Agency is utilizing a shortened advertising period due to the urgency of this procurement.

The Contractor shall provide professional services for the renovation of the existing snack bar in the Juneau State Office Building. Planned improvements include installation of a Type 1 ventilation hood system, new lighting, cabinets, counters and finishes throughout. The area being renovated is known to contain asbestos, and environmental control/design will be required. The Contractor shall provide all professional services necessary to support the successful completion of the project and shall participate in client meetings to verify planned project objectives and scope.

The requirements of this project shall consist of evaluation and upgrade of the main entry plaza, stairs and ramps, canopy, curtain wall and entry doors, including a snow melt system for the plaza/stairs/ramps. The design process shall require coordination with Department of Transportation and Public Facilities personnel to evaluate project needs and in determining recommended courses of actions. Documents must meet current building codes and conform to applicable State of Alaska guidelines.

The Contractor shall provide design support services to assist the Contracting Agency to develop and advertise the Knik Goose Bay Road Reconstruction Centaur Ave to Vine Road project. Services are anticipated to include hydrologic and hydraulic engineering, erosion and sediment control plan, traffic management plan, assistance during bidding, project closeout, and construction.

The purpose of the proposed Professional Services Agreement is to hire a contractor to provide right of way appraisal, acquisition and relocation services to the Department. The acquisition of property is required to build the above referenced federally funded project.

The Contractor shall provide professional design services to resurface the existing pavement that may include as necessary: roadside hardware, drainage improvements, ADA improvements, safety improvements, bridge repairs, and utility relocations. Activities include: Surveying/ROW Mapping, Public Involvement, Erosion & Sediment Control Plan (ESCP), Plans, Specifications, & Estimates (PSE), and Design Analyses & Reports (DAR), Project Closeout, Assistance During Bidding, and Assistance During Construction. The Contracting Agency may add up to two (2) similar pavement preservation projects during the initial period of performance

The Contractor shall provide professional services for the design and advertising of the above named project, and two (2) additional projects. The first project will replace Tudor Road Overcrossing at the Seward Highway to meet current standards. It will improve turning movements and non-motorized accommodations to address safety concerns. It will rehabilitate interchange ramps and intersections to meet the new bridge configuration, as needed. The Contractor will be the lead designer for this project. Anticipated services are described in the Statement of Services. The additional two (2) projects are AMATS: Rabbit Creek Road Rehabilitation and AMATS: Potter Drive Rehabilitation. These two projects are being designed in house and the Contractor will be provided support services as needed.

The Contractor shall provide design services for the Seward Highway / Sterling Hwy Intersection Improvement project. The project will redesign the existing intersection to improve Interstate to Interstate traffic movements and safety. Design services include: Environmental Activities, Wetlands Delineation, Public Involvement, Surveying, Preliminary Engineering, Avalanche Mitigation Engineering, Hydrologic and Hydraulic Design, Traffic Safety Analysis, Electrical Design, Utility Relocation Coordination, Design Study Report, Erosion and Sediment Control Plan, Plans, Specifications, & Engineers Estimate, Assistance During Bidding, Assistance with Design Project Closeout, and Assistance During Construction. The Contracting Agency may add by amendment other services as described on the Proposed Statement of Services at a future date, but it is under no obligation to do so.

The Contractor shall provide professional design services for upgrades, replacement, and repairs of the HVAC systems at the Sheldon Jackson Museum, located at 104 College Drive, Sitka, Alaska. The general scope of work includes replacement and/or repair of original HVAC Equipment in the Mechanical Room and associated pad outside to provide the independent control of 3 separate zones within the facility using the existing remote desktop control system. Services include architectural and engineering (structural, mechanical, and electrical), cost estimating, applicable hazmat/environmental, and IBC services related to planning, design, and construction administration assistance

The Contractor shall provide Public Involvement services for the Soldotna: Redoubt Ave & Smith Way Rehabilitation project. These services include a public involvement plan, project website, public meetings, advertisements, public notices, newsletters, an email list, and a public involvement summary report.

The Contractor shall provide professional design services for a new bus maintenance facility located at 458 Katlian Street/Tribal Way in Sitka, Alaska. Initial services include Site Investigation and 10% Conceptual Design. The Contracting Agency anticipates negotiating and adding by amendment additional services to include 35% schematic design, 65% design development, 95% construction documents, 100% construction documents, building optimization & life-cycle costs analyses, bidding & negotiation, construction administration, special inspections, commissioning, and record drawings.

The Contractor shall provide professional Architectural and Engineering Services for the design of a heated, 2-bay Snow Removal Equipment Building (SREB) at Mountain Village Airport (MOU) and a heated, 2-bay SREB at Gambell Airport (GAM).
